Admission to GVS starts in January for all stages.
Please download the Application Form, fill it out; and then submit it at School in Obour City. |

Kindergarten
- Fill out the admission application and submit it at School in Obour City.
- Applicants are interviewed either in March or May, at School
in El-Obour City.
- The School will contact the candidate's parents within 10 days
of the interview to set a date for a meeting with parents and
child at School.
KG stage: Interview Details
- Interview starts at 10:00 AM and lasts for 90 minutes on average.
- It's a plus for the child to know what to expect in the interview. The child needs to be prepared
that he/she will be on his/her own with a group of children playing, drawing, singing, etc.
- No adult is allowed to be in classrooms.

- Fill out admission application and submit it at school.
- Applicants will be called for interviews during the second half of
March/first half of April.
- Applicants are required to do an assessment test in English and
Math.
- Parents will be notified of assessment results within one week of
interview date.
- Knowledge of the German language is a prerequisite. Applicants
with no prior knowledge of the German language can refer to
German Language Course for learning opportunities.
German Language Course
- Option 1
Candidate students are welcome to join the summer school at GVS for a German language course. Students enrolled in this 3-week language program are required to attend all scheduled sessions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on a daily basis (exclusive of Fridays).
- Option 2
Alternatively, should a candidate student prefer to study the German language on his or her own, a German language primer will be available for self-education. Yet an assessment test shall be held in September to assess language potential and achievement.
