As part of the government's program of new
towns, El-Obour city was founded in the eighties of
the past century, with the aim of population
redistribution. As a new urban community,
El-Obour experiences rapid growth in population
and public services, still enjoying the advantages of
a newly founded town: spaciousness, greenery, and
quietness. The premises of GVS cover a space of
12,000 square meters, amid the town's most
populated area.
